Description
These carrot cake oat squares are extraordinarily smooth, wet and packed with that deliciously candy cinnamon spice you locate in carrot cake.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Grated Carrots
- 3 cups Oats
- 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- ⅛ teaspoons Salt
- 2 Medium Bananas, Mashed
- ⅓ cups Maple Syrup
- ⅓ cups Rapeseed Oil
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Preparation
Preheat oven to a hundred and eighty°C (355ºF) or a hundred and sixty°C (320ºF) fan. Grate carrots with a food processor or grater.
In a massive blending bowl, integrate oats, cinnamon, baking powder and salt.
In a separate bowl, mash bananas. Add maple syrup, oil and vanilla extract, mix nicely. Mix dry substances with moist components till properly mixed. Fold in grated carrot.
Pour into 8 x eight square baking tin lined with baking paper. Bake for 15–17 mins.
Leave to cool for another 20 mins before slicing into squares.
